The Stardust Motel is under the care of new owners who are not just a team but a family and friends' collective. KimBerly, one of our owners, hails from an Air Force family with roots spanning Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado, and California. She and her husband, Gary, call the beautiful Gold Country of Placerville, CA, home, where Gary is a professional winemaker. KimBerly's passion for hospitality and a dream to own a retro motel led her to the Stardust in 2021, and on January 7, 2022, they officially took the reins. Their vision is to preserve the iconic charm of the Stardust while giving it a fresh, updated look in the coming months to welcome guests for a memorable stay. Our dedicated staff will be on-site year-round, ensuring that the Stardust continues to evolve while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
